Default Continental O-200 Engine Oil Pressure

My Sport Cub S2 has approximately 55 hours on the engine (yes, it's still barely broken in). On my takeoff roll at full power, I noticed the oil pressure led to flash "red" for a minute or two until I throttled back a bit and it returned to "green". Never noticed it before. Stayed in the green for the remainder of the flight even though I had applied full power several times. Is this normal to have a low pressure reading on takeoff?

    Low or high?

If the oil is not warmed up enough (figure around 70* F prior to takeoff) you can see high oil pressure at high power settings..

I would bet the flashing Red light you saw would have been on the high side and not the low side. I see it common in a few aircraft for that to happen due to cooler oil temperatures during start up.
