Located in the aviation aisle of your local Autozone are some trim products that you might find useful. I've used two profiles for different applications.

The top pic is of course cabin air at our feet. The bottom left pic shows the profile I used. This is a J-trim with adhesive backing. Soften up the trim using a heat gun or just work it with your hands and then shape and insert it into the vent holes. Cleans up the raw edge.

Second application was to eliminate any risk of damage to certain harnesses and wire bundles from the sharp edge of the avionics tray in my World VFR panel. This was a U-shaped door edge guard trim and it grips the edges of the tray very nicely but if you want to be sure it will never move apply a couple small dabs of silicone.

These trims are "StyleGuard" products. The two profiles that I used:
Door Edge Guard - Surface mount style at the vents. This one has the adhesive strip.
Door Edge Guard - U-shape style at the sharp edges of the avionics tray.
