Alex, you will have a blast at Jack Brown's!

I went through there two day course when I was down there for Sun-n-Fun this year. Really reminds me of old-time aviation. Very relaxed atmosphere. They are good at making you feel welcome and have some fun while learning to fly floats safely.

We never closed the door on the J3 the whole time I was there :-)

Scot do tell who's floats? ie what manufacturer and how are they? Any updates on the Aerocets? best Gary

Those are Aerocet floats Gary..

Two CCs flying on them right now, one or two more sets in the shop at CCS with airplanes lined up for install.

They are Aerocets very solid user friendly, j turns, plowing turn very maneuverable, getting on step is non issue except you are almost flying before you get there. No real tendency to want to porpoise, outside float stays high does not seam to want to bury during plow turns. As you can see seems to be very little Propwash.

GREAT Scot and Pete so glad to see the Aerocets are finally here. Time for one of you to bring them to Greenville for the Spetember International Seaplane fly in! I plan to return this year its the second weekend in September and a whole lot of fun and local flavor knowledge and talent Best Gary
