Andersonville National Cemetery from my S2
Flying back from the Georgia Cub Flyers Fly-In near Andersonville National Cemetery. Very historic area. Close to 13,000 Union solders are buried there who died in the near by military prison. It continues to be one of 14 active National Cemeteries managed by the National Park Service. Turner Pictures produced the Andersonville mini series in 1996 which depicted what life was like in the infamous Confederate POW camp.
Also in the area is Souther Field where Charles Lindbergh soloed.
