    Default CC World VFR Panel

It's time for another shout out to the CC Carbon Cub Kit team. This week I started on my panel and wiring. Now you have to know that my wiring experience is limited to a Morse code transmitter for a 5th grade science project. So there was a lot of angst as the time drew near to tackle this phase. But Mitch got me going with several coaching calls and then I just couldn't put it down! I'm serious, this is almost more fun that fabric

The harnesses are amazing. They're perfectly labelled and built in such a way that the point of connection is made pretty obvious even before looking at the wire number, just by the length and placement of the wire. The schematics were really scary at first glance but within a couple hours they became very logical. I'm not kidding about my level of experience....this is the first time I've ever worked with a wiring schematic this complex and after just 3 days (about 12 hours) I'm virtually done the top side of all harnesses.

Once again, hats off to Mitch and the entire team for great support and an outstanding product...with special thanks to the harness crew!!
And remember, the World VFR panel was just released a few short months ago!

Thanks for the feedback Paul, good to know that these pre-made panels are working for builders. I seldom get the see the finished product going out (other than aircraft) and like to know what we are presenting to our customers.

Looks like you'll be flying soon!

Paul, have you given much thought on the mounting of your autopilot in the WVFR panel?

Yes, I've been talking with Mitch on that. I believe where it will be going is right at the bottom centre, in place of the bank indicator. Mitch is working on a template. The other way I've seen it work is with a small extension panel mounted just below the main panel. I'll post pics once it's in.

    Hello Paul,

    I'm wiring my World VFR.
We have problems with the connectors sizes.

Would you be so kind to put here more pictures about your installation ?

Specially about the connections of the CGR-30P vs the tray, and the pitot static tubing, and the exact position of the upper side of the panel.

    Thank you in advance !
