    Default Lower Cowl Access Panel

For those of you who have upgraded your cowling, we are looking for a replacement piece for a damaged lower cowl. We need the Carbon Lower Cowl Access Panel that holds the air filter. Does anyone have one that they are willing to sell?

It's the part that is front and center of the photo on 6.3.14 Page 2 of the Maintenance Manual.

    Thanks,

Be aware that there are several screw patterns on that part. That part is the same between the new and old Carbon Cubs, but there are multiple screw patterns so look at the screw layout vs what cowling it came off of. Most notably, the earlier ones had a screw in each corner at the top, above the filter. These screws were eliminated on later installations, prior to the new style cowling with the large inlets.

Thanks for the info Pete, we'll keep an eye out for that.
