These are incredible pictures, but Im so glad I don't live there. Im happy to stay in the Northwest.
I'm in the middle of Nebraska right now...enjoying the very best of what is left of the prairie. Beautiful photos...every night looks like a photograph, the folks here are accepting, honest and friendly. I love the center of the nation.... R

I was surprised the NYT recognized there is a beautiful heartland. Of course they see it as cold and stark, not withstanding harshly beautiful. I fly it in the summer when it is warm and humid. Soft and lush. The people open and engaging. Those photos do not capture the magical and dissolving American essence of strong, independent and kind people living in an abundant land. At least they saw it from the air breaking FAR's.
#4 is a compound bow in Jordan's hand.
