Where did you buy that Steve? Direct from Rosen?

I mostly use a baseball cap for a visor, but the Rosen looks nice.

Yes, direct from Rosen via call in order. Got it in three days.
Came with 4 different size allen wrenches, lube & STC (Super Cub).

Flew two hours direct into the East morning Sun with it this AM, and found it
To work just wonderful ....reduced the Sun very well and noticeably Cooler too!

    Hello everyone,

I have actually been working on offering these for our S-LSA aircraft since Oshkosh. I didn't want to offer them for E-LSA until I had them approved to use in our S-LSA, but I guess Steve let the cat out of the bag.

Here are some pictures of one installed in 897CC.

I've flown 4 days in a row since SA0009 was completed last Wednesday with my Rosen installed. Approx. 6 hours total. Actually saw the sun shine today. I highly recommend the Rosen Sun Visor as well as Vernatherm. My oil temp. stays right at 178 regardless of the outside air temperature.

I got mine right before I flew from Seattle to Palm Springs area and didn't get a chance to install it. But no sun anyway, but now Im in the sun and hope to install it tomorrow while I wait for the Obama to finish his golf weekend and get the heck out of here so we can go flying again. What bunch of crap..everyone grounded while he plays golf for 3 days. Can you say TRF

This works great, about 12 bucks and won't ripe you face off if you go over.

    Thanks Cubdriver,
I ordered one this morning. Any tricks on the installation? Photo of the top of the unit?

Just clean the windshield inside first. Mine stays put for weeks but every once in a while one side will pop off. I jiggle it on preflight. You'll love it. I have a SC friend who flys 300+ hrs a year and I gave him the extra one from the package and he threw it in the baggage after I stuck it on his WS. I took it out and put it in the pouch behind the front seat so he could reach it. Next day he's flying west in the afternoon for hours and I get a text picture of it on his WS with the message " you rock "
