    Default Compass location

    I am curious if anyone has experimented with alternate compass locations in a Carbon Cub. Having flown in my earlier years with bush pilots who wore brain buckets in the cockpit, I am sensitive to any protrusion aimed at my skull.
    I'm 6' 2" so the alignment is perfect. Thanks, Jake

    The compass and it's mount are pretty flimsy.
    I suspect your skull is stronger.
    Not that I am saying you are hard headed!
