CubCrafters announces our new Light-Weight Spin-On Oil Filter for the Carbon Cub SS. This new filter weighs only 0.96 lbs. compared to 1.42 lbs. for our previous filter. More importantly, the filter incorporates a MAGNETIC FILTRATION SYSTEM that has more media area than other aviation filters. An internal magnet, designed to attract fine steel particles too small to be caught by the filter media, effectively increases the performance of the filter.

Will this filter work with existing oil filter adapters?

Yes. It is a direct replacement for the Champion CH48108-1.
