    Default back seat drivers

For all you CFIs here is what I did with my ipad and foreflight for a backseat navigation reference. I purchased a Sportys Ram iPad Suction Cup Mount and stuck it to the skylight. In the front seat I stick to the bottom left of the windshield above the key and it works there as well aslo althought I believe the ipad mini would likely work better. 1348154978565.jpg

For just noodling around the local area, even an iPhone with Foreflight can do the job, without taking up too much room.

I have found that I use the iPad just sitting on my lap. When I don't need to refer to it, or for T/O and landing I flip the cover over the screen and put it on end between the rudder cable and the side panel beside the seat.
