Does anyone else have leading edge wing clamps that they may no longer need in the near future? I should be needing them around the November time frame.

FYI. Just thought I’d post this again. I built a number of sets of the clamps and sent them all out. Cubcrafters had originally built 22 sets and they all seemed to “disappear”.

Mitch asked that kit builders not get clamps until BOTH wings were completed and ready for the leading edge skins and not get them and sit on them.

It’s easy to build the wing almost complete without the leading edge skins, then set it into the wing holder and then do the other wing. When both are almost ready, then get aa set of clamps, use them and then they can be sent on to someone else. Installing the leading edge skins takes a couple hours at most so no need to get the clamps way in advance.

I think people are getting the clamps before they even get the kit and then sit on them for a year holding up others who need them.

I just know how frustrating it is to need a wing clamp and you are unable to get them because they are sitting in someone’s hangar. If everyone would do it this way, no one would get held up.

We sent our set of leading edge clamps to someone else a year ago. Keep asking around, there should be a set available.
