    Default Vernier Mixture?

My mixture knob tends to creep out during flight. Has anyone installed a vernier mixture knob/cable on a Sport Cub? Or does it need an MRA to get it approved?

I have seen one in a Carbon Cub but it was in a home built one.

You might try ordering one of the new style detented cables that they are using on the production line now. They don't creep and have a nice smooth feel to them compared to the old cable with the slot in the side of the shaft. I THINK this could be done with out an MRA but check and make sure when you order.

Thanks Pete, just ordered the newer style cable. Part numbers are the same as shown in the Carbon Cub parts catalog. Jon
