Things you see from a Cub

A couple of days ago I took off from KVUO and climbed out toward Vancouver Lake. At about 900' MSL over the south shore of the lake, just below me and to my right, were four (count them) bald eagles making lazy circles in the air.

I'm not exactly sure, but as I flew by it sure looked like one of them grinned and raised a middle feather in my general direction.

Hard to beat that! That's a great place to fly into as long as Approach isn't yelling at you.
