    Default 0-320 vs cc340

I am new here but plan on building a Carbon Cub someday. What is the weight difference in a 160hp 0-320 and the cc340?

The CC340 is a fair amount lighter than a standard O-320 due to our lightweight sump, lightweight intake tubes, lack of accessories on the back of the engine, and lightweight external components (starter, alternator, etc.). How much lighter depends on the O-320 configuration but usually around 40 lbs.

    Cool Re: 0-320 vs cc340

Is the CC-340 using Dynafocal type 1 mount bosses? I am considering installing an O-320E but need to know which mount is used?

Mitch, can you custom fit an engine mount in the finish kit?

The CC340 uses a conical engine mount, not Dynafocal 1 or 2.
