SB00015 tool ?

I'm doing SB00015 Rev C (and SB00020) this weekend. Does anybody know the best tool for cutting the old torque tube as mentioned in step 3h? My hanger is an hour away I would prefer not to make multiple trips because I brought the wrong tool.

I think a diegrinder with a partially used cutoff wheel will fit in there. Just watch the seatbase. A slower safer way would be to use a hacksaw but not sure if a full sized hack saw will fit. One of the ones that only grabs the blade on one end would work better.

I used a hacksaw takes about 3 min. that way you can control the cut a little better. Cut it in front of the rear stick.

every one should have an Oscillating saw,,,, i have one i bought for 40bucks at harbor freight 3ish yrs ago,,,have used it about 20 hours of actual cutting time and it works as good as the german brands etc that sale for 100 plus bucks,,,blades arent cheap but the ones that come with the saw will do just fine........ or you can use the hand hacksaw.........just my 2 cents.....
