    Default Wing Covering

    Hello Everyone,
Noticed on new CC today at cruising speed that near the wing root,
just outside door the fabric droops about one cm.
Did not know the cause of this and wondered if some wing fabric stitching came loose.
On the ground all looks fine???
Has anyone else noticed a fabric at the first inboard wing root area sag a bit in flight??
    Cheers

    Alan,

Just out of curiosity, what was your speed? And have you noticed any different behavior at a higher or lower speed?

    hi John,
    Cruising about 110 mph.
    Only on right side
1 to 2 cm of fabric droop.
Almost looks like stitching is loose.
Factory says not really a problem.
Cannot see it on the ground.
    Cheers

    Alan,

Do you see the fabric flex when you are flying at around 90-95?

Yes at most cruising speeds the
fabric looks pulled down just at first
inboard rib area only right wing

Suggest this sag is caused by a degradation of the wing structure or most probably rib stitching cut by a rib if not prepared correctly for stitching.
