Tanis Engine Pre Heat
It's been a mild winter in Minnesota, so far..... Inevitably it's going to get very cold and why let that stop the fun!
Yesterday I spoke with the owner of Tanis Aircraft Services. He agreed to build up a Tanis Engine Pre-heater system for the CC-340. It will be very similar to a Lycoming set up with independent elements for each cylinder with a custom element for the CC-340 sump. I forwarded Tanis' engineer photos and specs of the CC340 sump. Tanis has a new light weight harness that's much better than the old set up. I'll post some photos of the install when complete.
We're also toying with adding a heat element for the aircraft battery that's wired into the engine heat harness. Sub Zero life support. The entire set up should be less than 2 lbs.
