Stan has done the first install now and has the bracketry and package figured out. We can add the Zaon XRX to any Carbon Cub / Sport Cub for $1,895 fully installed and talking to your Garmin GPS. We have a custom bracket that locates the unit in the greenhouse out of the way. We'll have a flyer on it with further info soon.

Randy, any pictures available to see how it looks in the greenhouse?

Becky, who will be doing the flyer, is on vacation this week. She'll take some pics of it and include them in the flyer. It's very tidy though, I think most owners would like it.

Just curious as I've never used one of the Zaon PCAS units before, how often do you guys who have them change the settings using the buttons on the PCAS itself? Is it pretty much a set it and just get your info from the Garmin display, or do you typically change the settings based on where you are flying?

    Default Zaon and Garmin 375

    Randy,

Will the Zaon talk to the Garmin 375 used in the current Executive Panel? Can I add it to serial number 123 which is due to be completed around the 16th?

    Please advise.

    Thanks!

    Rich,
Yes, the Zaon does talk to the 370/375 in the Executive Panel. I believe you should call Brenda to make an changes to your order. Thanks, Becky

    Becky

Thanks! From the picture, it looks like the Zaon unit is set towards the rear of the cockipit. Can the pilot see the units's controls and screen from the front seat with this mounting position?

    Please let me know.

    Regards,

    Rich,
The unit is about even with (a little forward of) the pilot's head. It is possible to see the screen and adjust settings, but it's a stretch. From what I'm told, the unit is "set" initially and then typically will not need to be adjusted. We are having the units preprogrammed and wired to come on with the master switch, rather than having to be activated manually every time. Hope that helps!
