Default Carbon Cub Wings & Fuselage Upgrade for the S2

What exactly is included in that upgrade?

In the Carbon Cub SS wings verses the Sport Cub wings (also known as the "high gross" option), the following items have been changed:
    • The wing spars do not have lightening holes.
    • The strut attach fittings are different.
    • Some of the drag/anti drag wires are larger diameter.
    • The jury strut attach brackets are stainless steel.
    • Carbon Cub SS rear lift strut has also been modified.
    Fuselage differences:
    • Several tubes that have gone to the next larger diameter, and several tubes have had the tube wall thickness increased.
    • Reinforcement tabs have been added to different areas in the fuselage.
This all adds up to 10 lbs.

    Thanks
    Mitch

Thank you, Mitch. Gee, I thought it might be a couple extra ribs and a beefed up strut or whatever, but your list looks like little tweaks all over the place! It's a comprehensive 10 lbs, that's for sure. Very interesting.

I'm guessing some of the those changes become universal for both models along the line.
