    Default Fabric

I will probably order the CC Cub EX LSA kit in a couple of months. I got a chance to fly one yesterday and that was probably a 145K demo flight. I have built 3 RV's so building the basic airplane is not a concern. The only concern I have is covering the airplane as I have zero experience. Does anyone know if there are classes available on covering.

EAA Sportair workshops for fabric are available, along with some individuals that do training.

    Jerry Stadtmiller http://www.restoreyourairplane.com/c...workshops.html
and Clyde Smith http://www.cubdoctor.com/services.html are some of the individuals that I am aware of. You might try a google search to see if there is anyone close to you.

I started build my EX at the beginning of April. The quality and completeness of the kit can't be beat. Good Luck making your decision.

If you don't mind some travel you can bring the tail feathers up to Alabama and I will show you how to cover them and if you still are not comfortable I will help you with the wings.
If you are interested give me a call 205-670-9152.

    Hi Pat,
Your comment about having built 3 RV's already caught my attention. I have been looking seriously at building an RV7a for about a year now but had the same $145k demo flight over at sun country aviation (KFFZ) just before Christmas. I realize there's not a lot of similarity betweens a 7a and a Carbon but I'm really torn now on which way to go. I own a Cirrus SR22 and it's my long distance time machine....and I've been thinking of a second plane for more fun aviating and starting to feel like the Carbon will be a better second airplane....there just not being enough difference in the functonality or the fun factor between 7a and the SR22.
Did u end up buying a Cubcrafter and what's your comments on the Carbon vs an RV?
