    I have been having a ball flying the canyon back country out of Phoenix, It is incredibly beautiful! Here are some pictures that say more than words....It seems we are flying the perfect aircraft for this kind of flying!......enjoy

    Those are great shots! Oh how I'd love to take my S2 down there -- if only I had enough time off work.

    What route did you take from WA to AZ?

    Having explored that area with your airplane, you might be interested in a book I picked up at Barnes & Noble there on Val Vista and Hwy 60 by AJ's Market ... it's one of those paperback photo history books published by Arcadia Publishing, and the title is "Apache Junction & The Superstition Mountains," or something to that effect. Interesting stories and photos. Maybe armed with that information and your Cub you can discover the Lost Dutchman Mine! (I'll be happy with a small finder's fee! )
