    Default New CC Kit

    Hi Guys,
I'd like to introduce myself. The name is Dick Krause from Central Florida. M The kit came two weeks ago on Tuesday and took two days to unpack with all that bubble wrap but nothing was broken. Attached is a photo of the progress.

    Looks good so far, Dick.

I hope to check it out when I drop in on the 6th.

    Hi Everyone,
Thanks for the warm welcome. This is my third complete aircraft. In the late 70's I built a Steen Skybolt N101DK, in the late 90's a Pitts Model-12 N212DK, and now the Carbon Cub. Hope to be able to show you the project John and am looking forward to see what you bring to the Fly-in on the 6th.

    Hi Dick,

Let me also add my welcome. I'm a kitbuilder as well having built two RVs. Some sort of fabric aircraft has been next on my list for years now, and I've also looked at the Pitts Model 12 along the way, that looks like an interesting aircraft.

True confession: twice now I'm almost started one of our kits, I have some ideas in mind for a slight variation. I have a feeling that I'll end up doing one myself at some point. Anyway, welcome aboard!!

Keep this up and you'll be flying by the end of the year! I'm impressed :-)

Here's an answer to those damn "Jesus" slips. The size is 13/16ths known as an external snap ring. User friendly, easy to install, and not available from Cub Crafters.
