Default We need a way to lock the door

Something for everyone to think about and hopefully solve is a way for us to lock the cabin door.
    Thanks

There are two schools of thought on locking aicraft doors to protect your contents and avionics. One says "lock it", but the other says that thieves will get past the lock no problem and will likely inflict serious damage to the airframe while doing it, so don't bother locking it.

We don't put them on our production aircraft for weight reasons but some enterprising builder will likely figure out something and then sell them.

Personally, I think a cabin cover is the best anti-theft device... it's keeps the prying eyes out so they don't even know what's inside. True, they can pull the cover back and look, but that makes them more conspicuous and might just cause them to move on the next guys plane that isn't all buttoned up with a cover.

If a lock was included (perhaps as an 'option') each owner could decide. What's wrong with choice?
