    Default Oil capacity

Most AFM and AMM template references seem to indicate that the CC363i oil sump has a capacity of 8 quarts but one maintenance manual reference states the capacity is 6 quarts.

Other references seem to say that other CC engines have a capacity of 8 qts but only 6 quarts if the lightweight sump is fitted.

What is the oil sump capacity of the CC363i fitted on an FX-3?

I know CC is fitting a light weight aluminum sump. This may explain the 6 quart oil capacity.

Looks like you've found a typo in the AMM template. The CC363i sump has a capacity of 8 quarts. Though it is outwardly similar to the CC340 lightweight sump, it has no internal internal induction spider and it is slightly taller, giving it the additional 2 qts of capacity.

Thanks. I have corrected my AMM.
