Question Service Bulletin 34 Fuel System

Has anyone accomplished the inspection? What did you find?
What caused this bulletin to be created? If the nylon fittings
are failing, replacing with more nylon bushings seems to be
a problem unless they were installed incorrectly when the
    aircraft was built.

Two winters ago when I did my condition inspection I found 3 leaks. Blue stains at the connections and a very slight fuel smell were the clue. I replaced the fittings with the new style being used now. Not hard to do once the tanks are drained.

Earlier this week I started my condition inspection and checked these fittings and everything looks fine.
