    Default Model difference and options?

    Hello,

    I知 considering CC airplane. I知 wondering is there is a model breakdown of differences by year? Also along with options that were offered.

    Are brochures available for prior years?

    Thanks,
    Keith

    Are you looking to build or buy? I have an EX2 I finished building in may of last year, less than 50hr., sitting in Washington if you are interested. I might be convinced to sell. Text 509-350-9202

    Hi Keith, we may have older material at the factory. Do you have specific questions we can answer in the interim?

    Being new to the brand, I would like to better understand the model progression between Sport Cub and Carbon Cub SS? What is a S2?

    Thanks!

    An S2 is the later version of a Sport Cub. Still has the O-200 engine but a better "4 into none" exhaust instead of the Y pipes and some other little improvements.

    Sport Cub/Carbon Cub model progression is roughly;

    CC11-100 Sport Cub
    CC11-100 Sport Cub S2
    CC11-160 Super Sport Cub (only a few were badged like this, is the same as a Carbon Cub SS)
    CC11-160 Carbon Cub SS (new cowling and heat improvements from mid 2012 and on, many early SS were updated)
    CCX-1865 Carbon Cub FX, CCK-1865 EX Carbon Cub FX or EX (FX is builder assist, EX is kit built) Very similar to an SS but Experimental Amateur built and may be certified at 1320 or 1865 gross weight
    CCX-1865 Carbon Cub FX2, CCK-1865 EX2 Carbon Cub FX or EX (FX is builder assist, EX is kit built) Very similar to an SS but Experimental Amateur built, updated with G-Series ailerons, no Light Sport equivalent
    CCX-2000 Carbon Cub FX, CCK-2000 EX Carbon Cub FX or EX (FX is builder assist, EX is kit built) 2000 lb gross, fuel injected 363i engine 186 hp, Hartzell constant speed prop, no Light Sport equivalent
