Default Carbon Cub EX Carby heat diverted....wear...yyyy

    Hi guys
my carburettor hot air diverted has very worn bushes and causing slop in the butterfly valve, when using carby heat the cable won’t return due to the wear......How do you get the butterfly out as it’s all welded at assembly???????
is there any mods on this as the only way to get it apart is grind the weld off remove butterfly and rebush then weld it back up ....seems like a lot of in necessary work.....most systems the butterfly is screwed to the actuating shaft.....
thanks look forward to your feedback....

You can give us a call here at cubcrafters (509)248-9491 ask for parts and order an updated carb box assembly, it's now updated to the current revision.
    It's part number PC54400-001OH

    Hope this helps!

Anyone have a pirep on the new style version of the carb heat valve? I’ve got 2 of the older style carb heat boxes that I might rebuild if it’s cost effective to rebuild. Part number doesn’t seem to pull upon the CC site to get prices on these..thx
