When loaded, seems awfully easy to get the CG aft of the 78.5" aft limit. Any of you Carbon Cub drivers have a hard time keeping yours w/in limits when loaded? Either 1320 SS's or 1860 FX/EXs?
Thanks,
Andrew

No problem for me. I have an Excel setup for calculating W&B. Here's a sample:

Where does 81" come from. The POH and W&B sheet on the dropbox both quote 79" as the aft limit
EX2 is quoted as 79" aft limit.
It seems odd that it has changed from EX.
I wonder what the reasoning was for moving the aft limit forward 2”? The EX2 has more nose-down trim than the original EX too. There is probably an inch greater up horizontal stabilizer travel in the new style.

I have mine at 81 and there is no reason for it not to be. I think the 81 is on the x cub too. I asked the factory at the time and they said use 81. Anything less and it is just not going to take the load. As Dan said, it has much more trim to help even more on the EX2.
