    Default New Carbon Cub FX-3

This post has been moved from General CubCrafters.

Brad Damm is currently on a demo tour with the first production Carbon Cub FX-3. So far, the airplane has been well received, and Brad is gathering PIREPs as his travels proceed.

You can read our dealer's impressions on the CubCrafters BLOG. We'll update with new posts as they come in. Look for information about the new airplane on the CubCrafters website next week.

    All-

We have finally, officially, launched the new Carbon Cub EX-3 and FX-3 aircraft. Additions to the website are being pushed live now (may take a few hours). You will find information in various locations on cubcrafters.com, but look specifically at http://cubcrafters.com/carboncub, http://cubcrafters.com/carboncub/fx, and http://cubcrafters.com/carboncub/ex for specifications.

Chuck Kinberger, from SWT Aviation in Florida, and Mike Sasser, from Boomerang Air in Austin, have each posted their FX-3 PIREP on the BLOG. Very interesting to read their perspectives on the new airplane.

I like it. The original system was lacking in this area.

I’m impressed too that the engineers were able to get two big heat muffs tucked into, what appears to be, a more streamlined cowl.
