Default Alignment of lower Header tab to Fuselage-EX2

With reference to Section 25 Page 76 what is the correct alignment of the lower lip of the header to the fuselage/window hinge?

Figure FN18 seems to show, with close examination, an overlap of the door hinge suggesting that the interior door header panel is closely aligned with the interior fuselage tubing.

Photo 136 seems to show the right rear fuel line on the outside of the fuselage frame and not installed in the rear gap between the header and the inside fuselage as installed earlier upon the original fuel line routing instructions.

Which is the correct interpretation of the lower header alignment?

Secondly, what do the photos 136/137 try to show, with respect to alignment and the use of a long #40 drill?
If the use of a long drill is required, what is there to understand?

i don’t have a current EX2 manual to see your references but the headers panels mount the same way. They are pressed up flush against the fuselage from the inside. You can see the aft portion is formed to fit around the tubes. You can see a couple good photos in this post.
