Default Where to install the Window Doubler?

I have the Window Doubler part to install under the #4 leading edge skin of my left wing, but I can't find the installation directions anywhere.

Can someone point me to them?

    Hi Mark,
Not sure what you are asking about. Are you in the covering phase or still building the wings?

    Dan,

I am still building the wing.

The doubler plate is about 3"x9" so I assume that it is riveted between two of the nose ribs on the bottom of the ribs.

Got it. I built the extended range wings so I will refer to the 'extended range' manual. If you are not building these wings, go to the drop box and look at the extended range wing manual.

Look at figure W52. You will see the window doubler and fastener call out. The doubler lays flat on the inside bottom of the leading edge wing skin, butted up against the aft end of the skin, and in riveted in with the skin. Plus one more on each side thru the skin and doubler (total 4 rivets).

A very brief description is found on page 148.

    cheers
