    Default Kannad 406 ELT

On another Forum there was a discussion about ELTs and cost of batteries. The Kannad 406 Interga requires a battery change every 6 years, does it take the BAT200 at $194 or the BAT300 at $514? I think the Bat200 goes in the compact Kannad. The new Carbon Cub spec sheet just says Kannad 406.

If you have the 406AF compact, it's the BAT200

I think I stated that, maybe the question should have been which Kannad ELT does the carbon cub come equipped with. I don't have the airplane yet.

The compact is the most popular and with which the seat base is designed to work best.

Some builders have used different ELTs and in different locations.

I'm sorry that I have confused this, I just wanted to know what ELT was used in a new factory completed carbon cub. I am sure for weight consideration they would use the Kannad compact the spec sheet does not say. Therefore the cheaper battery would be used, it lasts for 6 years and that may well run me.
