Oh I plan to! Trust me. Wish you were open weekends but I'll find sometime during the week to come on down.

    Question Re: FX

I'm a new FX buyer, starting my build week at KYKM on 5 June.

Just a curiosity, approximately how many FXs are there? Sold, under construction, and flying?

If you ever need someone to fly with in SEA, let me know.

    Nozz -

If you can get me a ride in an F16, I'll take you in the Cub anytime (and as many times) as you ask!

Ha! I'd love that, but retired 2 years ago from USAF fighters and trainers. Do miss strapping on the Viper and putting it (and me) through its paces. What a beautiful jet. *sniff* Though I fly 757/767s now, the FX is another reason why I love Carbon Cub SS/FX/EX... same kinda concept with the F-16 and T-6, just an extension of you.

If you ever come out my way...

Ok, I had to ask on the 16B ride...
Current schedule has completion of my FX in Sept, so we can stay in touch. I live in Seattle, and have a hangar at PAE.

    Thumbs up Re: FX

Well, spent last week at the factory, building the parts for my FX. Great bunch of people!! Got everything done except the engine... had not arrived so I'll go back in the next week or two to do that stuff. Good that I live in Seattle (2 hour drive) and not Florida or some other remote place.

I chose the G3X based panel with A/P, but did some changes for IFR capability (added a GTN-650 in the panel, and changed the GTX-200 to a GTX-20R (no knobs remote) to free up panel space for the 650. This requires some custom work (read $$$), but will give me many more flying days per year. Stan and the guys are doing a great job handling my requested changes!

Completion date is in September, I CAN HARDLY WAIT!!!

Well, I guess September comes in December this year... Supply chain problems, forest fire smoke flight test delays, etc, etc.

Plane is now scheduled for my completion visit week of Dec 11. The avionics and other options are still as described above with the addition of a remote 340 audio panel (required for using 2 radios).

I'm looking at it in the Webcams about 4 times a day

Just a month to go - I STILL CAN HARDLY WAIT !!!
