    Default On the home stretch.

    It's at the hanger now. Back to a bit more painting of the VGs and such, then the wings may go on next weekend.

    I was told that many of the elevators at the factory are this way. They told me to put an awl through the holes and bolt it. It worked with little effort. I guess they have been bending Cubs for years

    I got the kit early August. Lost a month from the paint issue too

    I am spending at least 30 hrs a week on it. Sure wish I didn't have a day job.

    Final touches on the cowl are now done so it can be painted, wind screen is in, flaps...and so on. Just rigging the ailerons left. Along with a handful of other small things. Getting closer though

    Beautiful. Such a bold color scheme. Looks great.

    Yesterday completed the weights and balance and fuel flow testing. Trying hard to keep up with you
