    Default Break-In Temps

OK. I taped up today and it seemed to make just a little difference but still huge temp differences between the front and rear cylinders. I taped about the same amount. I'll try more I guess.

Today, full rich and running 75%, highest temp was 435 so I just let 'er go. I did attempt leaning to see what would happen. It would lean down and immediately the CHT's came down as well BUT.....couldn't get the power up past 65 with it leaned so just went back to full rich and ran it like a dog.

The cylinder temps were in the 410 -430 deg. until the engine broke in then at 12 hrs. they all dropped to 375 -390 but since it was Chip's gas and I was enjoying the 115 mph I let it run.
