    Default Flying Idaho Backcountry

Johnson Creek 2015 easily stands out as my most memorable backcountry experience to date. Met up with some old friends and made some new ones. The support and coaching from guys that have been doing it for a lot longer than me was amazing.
On the first day there, after the afternoon winds had calmed down, we took off and flew over to Cabin Creek. Here's a link to a short video showing landing and takeoff from that strip.

    Paul -

I agree Johnson Creek is pretty awesome. Are you going to make it out again this year? I plan on flying out to check out that awesome EX...

Hey Jeff, yes I am planning on Johnson Creek. Would be great to see you there.
And yeah, considering, you're in large part, the reason I'm flying a CCEX today, I'd love to show you N224Y. Thanks.

Hey Jason, I haven't heard otherwise. Ladd is coming down to AZ in a couple weeks so I'll let you know what he has to say. Mack Mesa is a "must fly-in" for me after being there for the first time last year. Right in the middle of some pretty incredible and diverse country with so many great backcountry strips.
