1st: everyone still like their T3?

2nd: Airframes website lists the T3 at 5.2 lbs. Does anyone know the weight of the 2 leaf springs on the CC setup that the T3 would replace? I called Airframes and they didn't have an answer.

3rd: I noticed that the chains go slack on compression when watching their video. I assume once the tail is not compressed that the chains are taunt again and can enable ground steering?

Looks like a great product. Thanks
Gen 3's in front T3 in back, hoping they will help me keep it that way!

Iíve never flown the T-3 so I couldnít tell you about it. But Iíve put the stinger thru hell since last August and itís done well. It also adjust really easy so you can raise or lower the tail for better angle of attack, which was one of the things I asked them to do when they were designing it. As far as the weight not sure the difference but Ill take all the extra weight back there I can get. Iíve been to the manufacturing facility and itís first class operation.

    my 2 cents

Thanks Chuck. The stinger does look robust and I like your comment on the adjustment for AOA.

From another website on a similair discussion:
Acme is 6.8 to 7.2 lbs., Airframes is 5 to 5.5 for single shock. A set of heavy leaf springs and clamp is 6.5 lbs.

    Hi Dan,

Give us a call or shoot us an email if you have any further questions on the Stinger. California Cubs is the Acme dealer for all CubCrafters branded aircraft and would be happy to help you get one on order!
