OK Guys, got this in the mail. Nice piece. Beautifully made.
Here it is new in box:
Now - do I paint it to match my base fuselage color (Daytona white) or leave it black. hmmm...

My vote is leave it black. That is a durable finish and grease will not show up so badly.

So far it works quite well. Smooth as butter on the rough stuff. Taxis just fine. However, the geometry has me a bit baffled. Seems to have quite the positive castor angle (good for shimmy I know), to the point it tilts significantly when turning and in general just seems a little wobbly (as I'm pushing it around with the tow bar). See pics. We did put the provided shim in. You folks experience this as well?

Yep! Ended up installing washers under the front mount to reduce that positive caster angle. Still a little squirrelly when moving by hand but it's a small price to pay.

Airframes makes the T3 with two arm options. Might want to call them to make sure you got the low angle version. If you didn't than they will send you the rear TW attach bracket.

Yep, did exactly that and we have the correct one. Thx though.

Should also be noted this picture was taken with the airplane pretty lightly loaded. No pax, a little baggage and min fuel. A loaded plane may change things a bit.

I put a 1/2 inch aluminum block under this one.
Pete your right, the plane loaded with pilot and fuel will sag the suspension slightly making a better caster angle.

So I made up blocks as well for the forward mount in varying thicknesses. I also found the rear mount was not welded on true, so I machined a wedge shim to correct it.
