I installed the T3 on my EX-2. I liked it and it worked well until I loaded 80 pounds in my plane and had Monika in the back seat. With this load I looked at the spring and it was almost totally compressed, which means no suspension and it looked like a good way to bend something. Are you guys using the 1500 pound spring? Have you looked at the spring when the plane is loaded?

    Jason,

Do you have 750 or 1500 installed on EX?

Sorry, should have included that... I have the 1500 spring.. I have buddies with Rans s7's and they all run the 1500 which works great but the CC EX tail weights twice the S7 tail...

I almost pulled the trigger on the 1500 for my EX-1865 and wondered if there were any issues.

    Hi Jason
I'm not sure why your suspension is soft. There are more than 12 Carbon Cubs with the same suspension you have and Breedens Glacier cub with 10 inch forward landing gear making for a super heavy tail weight.
I sent you a message regarding a new double shock setup that uses your stock steering system. Let me know if you want to give it a try.

I picked on up a few months back and I couldn't be happier, not sure why anyone would run a spring when you can run a T3!
