I suspect Karen is on the other end of that line.
Our farm needed a lota work when we bought it 29 years ago, Judy and I made a list hers started with a house. One afternoon she came back with some groceries and wondered what that JD850 was doing in the meadow, as I ran I yelled that's first on my list. She now laughs about it and enjoys mowing it taking pride in how nice the circles are at the ends as she refers to them. Chuck I've learned it's all about harmony some guys have it some don't, you do! See you in February.

    Thanks Glenn
When you get down here will make another stone crab run. Should be about 20 or so cubs at Flyin. I’ve had the pad there for 2 months now,If it will ever quit raining I can get the hanger built.

Very good friend asked to ride home with me from factory in the new big engine XCUB, Legacy 450 was our ride out, sweet to say the least. On the way out he said let’s stop by the ranch on the way back, we can get some Axis meat for the freezer. We hung out at the ranch for couple days had a ball hunting Axis deer and practice shooting out to 800yrds at steel targets. Brought the cub out to the ranch it was like a obstacle course with all the trees and fences next to the road.
We had a pretty nice ride the first day all the way to Albuquerque NM. One of the Blue Angles was on the ramp there that was pretty cool to park by. We were trueing out right at 130mph with standard cub gear and 31” tires, the new 393 pulls like hell and 50 gals of fuel we were doing 450-500 mile legs. The next day it got pretty windy last 2 airports we landed at it was gusting over 40. The XCUB really handled the wind and turbulence well. When I left the ranch I went from south west Texas to S.Florida 1290 miles in one day and only 2 fuel stops.
Dropping it off at paint shop in the morning.

Curiosity strikes...why bungee gear and big tires? Going on floats permanently? And why didn't Cubcrafters paint it?

    Thanks, John

It has Acme Suspension not bungees. No this ones not going on floats. The one I have coming down the line now will be same paint scheme on floats. There will be one of each floats and wheels. CubCrafter doesn’t want to do these elaborate paint schemes so I have local paint shop do them for me. I just dropped it off this morning to the paint shop.
