It was exciting for a second as it looked a lot closer from the inside.

We had our annual Florida cub flyers and Florida clay crackers Flyin at the Quail Creek Plantation in Fort Pierce FL. Chip and Kathy even came down to join us. Just about every person in this video has a Cub. The runway was so wet most people decided to drive. Gary took all are videos, pictures and made this video. I didn't get to fly in to the cocktail pasture party this time it got to late. Quail Creek Plantation is a first class sporting clay and Bird hunting lodge and club!
    Good time with good friends.

I received a call from a guy asking if I would sell a plane I had. I told him it wasn't for sale ,we ended up talking for a while kinda hit it off and he invited me to a Flyin Called Ice Port on Millie Lacs Lake. Said up to 50 planes show up there. I thought it sounded pretty cool to land on snow and ice so I flew up there Fri had dinner with him and his wife got up Sat morning we stole his friends Cub and did some ice Flyin. It was a blast!! It took a couple landing for me to actually stop trying to convince my self the ice isnt going to break. Unfortunately the Ice Port got canceled but I still got to fly around for a couple hours and do ice and snow landings. I flew home Sat late, got up Sunday morning took couple Cubs ,and flew my wife down for lunch in the Keys.(Only in America)

New friend and now ice current!😎

Wasn't much to it except you can't do a run up in a CC on Ice it just takes off. Come down here I let you land in 6" of the slickest stuff you ever seen.😄 Like landing on greased glass and then you have white walled ABW.

Had a real verity of airplanes that showed up.
The first one is A UTVA 66 it has a super charged 480 in it. Has big flaps plus flaperons, and slatted wings. It looks like a tank with wings the back window lifts up like a hatch back. On my way back I looked over and this hot rod pulled up right under my wing (Cool). I ran into this clip wing and the L4 on the way. Beautiful Waco showed up ,These 2 girls were having way to much fun trying to hit the spot on the landing contest.

Karen and I picked up my new Demo in Yakima. Spent 10hrs locally breaking it in around Mnt Ranier,Mnt Adams . Flew to Seatlle landed on beach
(wanted to say I went coast to coast)found a gravel bar, couple back country strips. Factory changed oil. Then headed to Tx for STOL contest by way of Salt Lake City,Canyon lands and Monument Valley. This was By far the most enjoyable cross country's I have ever done. The scenery was absolutely breath taking. We landed every canyon strip and sand bar we could find. We even ran into a local Carbon cub on one of the canyon strips who pointed out a couple local knowledge strips in Dirty Devil River so of course we had to go find them. We flew almost ten hrs and only went 200 miles. I'm gonna try and get a little video together of the trip. Here are some of the pics. This is a most do if you get out that way or bring one back from Factory. I think Karen only ask one time if I was really gonna land there what a GREAT WIFE.
