    Default Electronic ignition

I need to connect the ignition wires. What size wire and how did you connect the sheilds? I assume the shield goes to the negative post.

Should I strip off the insulation an inch or two from the end and use a solder sleeve or solder and shrink tube it? I called Mitch but just got voicemail.

They factory uses the shield to connect to the flag terminals, I used solider sleeves and seemed to be easier for me.

I ordered the correct crimpers from Ferrules Direct for the flag terminals.

I screwed up some of the terminals before I got correct crimpers so I ordered extra terminals.

You need the wider version 0.26"dimension "W"

I tried and failed, $40 for a reliable crimp on something as critical as ignition seemed like a deal, plus any reason to get a new tool...or two is even better! If you use red and blue terminals you'll only need 1 crimper, if you use the yellow that was supplied with kit you'll need two, as yellow is available in single crimper where red/blue is a dual crimper version.
