Default Carbon Cub SN 123 Delivered

Well SN#123 (aka N6ZA) is safely parked in my hangar at Front Range airport. The trip from Yakima to Denver was a great learning experience and provided fantastic views and some wild 25 knot cross wind landings! I think I had only 10 hours solo time before my Yakima departure. I would like to thank EVERYONE I met at Cubcrafters! The Cubcrafters' employees were great hosts and treated me like family! Picking up my plane at the factory was a great customer experience! I also want to thank Brian from Explore Aviation. He gave me the confidence to make the trip back to Denver on my own!

I will post some more updates and pictures once I catch up in the office!

    Regards,

I found these hanging pockets in the automotive department at Walmart. They work great for holding cell phones, radios, pens, cameras, etc.

Notice the velcro on the metal strip behind the throttle. I added this after slicing open my pinky knuckle while rapidly adding power during an aborted landing and quick go-around.....thankfully, this was the only injury on my trip!

Yahoo! Welcome Rich and delighted you are now part of the CC family and glad you hung in there and can feel and experience the total fun of this aircraft! I vividly remember our first flight together in Pompano and what fun that cross country truly is! Everyone should just do it as its magical as we can see from your excitement and photos, Best Gary
