Default Manifold Pressure line - EX2 with World VFR

    Good morning USA !

It seems to me that I am missing parts in my EX2 kit for the MAP lines, between the two «PLASMA CDI» and the engine.

I see in the forum some photos with two types of passage trough the firewall. Some tubes are yellow, others are black. One method goes through one grommet, while the other is via an AN connection. I can’t find any reference in the manuals.

I found a Black Silicone Rubber tube part.RM5598-001. I guess it’s the one that goes between the firewall and the engine. But from the 2 Plasma CDI to the firewall, I can’t find any tube, neither «T», nor connection. Do you have any references or details on those parts?

On my FX-3 the MP line passes through the firewall just outside the right top engine mount attachment using a barbed bulkhead fitting, continues as a single tube to close the ignition module, and then is split by a hose T to each module.

The engine to bulkhead fitting hose is Parker/Stratoflex and I think the designation is 193-4 but it's not all in view in my photo.

The cockpit side of the firewall uses a lighter rubber hose on which I see no markings.

An EX builder will probably have more detail for you.

    Good “evening” to you!

When they updated to the new Executive Glass manual, they left out much of this info I’m afraid, but that’s where it usually is.

Currently this is all there is in there now:

But here is a page from the previous manual that gave the parts for that:

Be sure a read what I write about that in my forum thread, specifically the RM5598-001 hose that goes through the firewall. It has a tendency to kink. Also be sure and watch my YouTube video covering that.
