    Default Best Wax

Greetings from Anchorage. Number 92 is about to have it's first birthday. What is the best wax to use, #92 was the first yellow & silver SS built & needs a good wash & wax.
    Thanks, Bill................

Bill: Since no one else has stepped up...here is the totally uninformed advice I have always gotten. Use Carnuba wax. Silicon bases protect well, but if there is ever a repair, it will be more difficult if silicon based waxes have been used. We follow that advice and have never had problems.

I am not an airplane mechanic and have never played one on TV. Ralph

    Hi Bill,
Ralph is right on, although I'm not 100% sure about waxing the Poly-tone (gray parts). I have a call in to Poly-Fiber to ask specifically about that. Will let you hear asap.
    Thanks,
    Becky

Poly-fiber confirmed that yes, the carnuba wax is great on the Poly-tone (gray)!
