Default Avery - CUB CRAFTERS CARBON CUB TOOL KIT

The drop box tools file shows a price of $1,299 for the Avery Cub Crafters Carbon Cub Tool Kit. Avery web site shows $1,550 as the price for the complete kit. Has there been a price increase since the drop box post?

It has been a bit since I ordered this kit, but my recollection is additional tools were added. May have been the drilling guide. Call them. They are very accomodating folks.

They were also willing to delete items you may already have.

News to me today: Avery Tools Retail and webstore is closed!

While I was looking for a tool I checked into Avery Tools. There was no Avery website, only a link to a VansAirforce posting showing their announcement. They say: "After 30 years supporting the aviation tool community Bob & Judy Avery retired from retail tool sales on December 17th, 2015."

    http://www.vansairforce.net/averytools.htm

They mention that Bob will be available part time to answer tool questions and help with warrantee issues during a time of transition to other tool
resources. They say the Avery custom Carbon Cub tool set will continue to be available at Cleaveland Aircraft Tool.

As a first time builder this was a very helpful start on the tools I needed to get up and running. In a short time I've been a user of their kit I've viewed them as good friends.
