    Default Temps after SB00027 & SB00030

I have not yet scheduled the work to comply with SB00027 & SB00030, but was curious about the temperatures now shown after the new probes. Any info from those who have completed the SBs would be appreciated.

Sheldon, I have the new temp probe installed and while breaking in my new engine (RPM's of 2400 to 2600) I'm seeing very stable oil temps of 150 - 152.

Paul, I understand you are operating with the new oil temp probe. I am assuming you are also using the new probe location as specified in SB00027, correct?? Congratulations on your build!!! You are really going to enjoy your new ride.

Yes, that's correct. I moved the probe over to the left (looking forward) and installed the newly designed plug in the old hole.

    Thanks...I sure am

    Hi Paul
Does the old plug not just swap over ??? as I have only finished CCEX $$ 55 and flying just before Xmas.

New plug and new probe are required. The holes are both different sizes.
