Just recently made a flight out to Rome, NY KRMEGiffis and visited an existing Top Cub customer who is strongly considering anX Cub. This visit was just anintroduction as I am new to this territory and its been a week or better sinceI have flown 18FX.

I Left 5B2 Saratoga County, NY just about 1:30pmand it was a short 70 miles but with the wind, it was 58 minutes. I was just South of the Blue Line for the AdirondackPark all the way West.I passed overseveral of the lakes that cover the Southern edge of the park including GreatSacandaga Lake, East and West Caroga Lakes, Canada Lake and also 9 Corner Lake.Pictures of all 4 are here.

I use flight following any time I am just A-B and Iguess that helps me know its not just my eyes working air traffic. I arrived to Griffis and a R hand to 33,landed with a slight L-R cross wind and taxied to the Executive Hanger.I met with our customer and had a nice visitwith him and also got to see a beautiful 2006 Top Cub with just 325TT.A nice one! (more on that later).
I jumped back in 18FX and headed home. Just 38min en route and some nice snow squalls just 10miles to the North of the route. (see pics). It seemed they would stay there. Approaching Saratoga the sun was setting andit was a pretty one too. While it was aquick 3 hours out and back, it was a nice visit and a Great Day of Northeast Flying Fun. MK
