I had one of the best days of my life, this past Friday, January 16, 2015 when I flew my CCEX for the very first time. As I've said many times on this forum, the entire experience of building a Carbon Cub has been phenomenal.....but, actually climbing into it and taking off was over the top!!
Happy to report 224Y is fast and flies very true...straight and level....hands and feet off
Many thanks to Mitch for his tireless dedication to all of us builders, his patience and exceptional help and guidance through the build.
Special thanks to Randy for managing a company that has dedicated a lot of resource to the kit program and for constantly improving the Cubcrafters lineup of aircraft as time goes on.
And last but not least, I'd like to thank Jim for creating the company and the airplane in the first place, that is now recognized in the experimental community and the GA world as something very special. And all of us who build it and fly it will heartily confirm that!
